New Beads
I've been neglecting the poor blog! But I've been so busy with making beads, going to baseball games, and driving the turbo mini van car pool to summer school and camp...enough excuses.

I've been on a fishing frenzy. No, I'm not baiting my own hook and tossing them back. I'm making fish beads. I took an advanced bead making class at United Art Glass and a fish bead was demoed. The one on the bottom is the first one I made.
Here are some more...

Some hearts. The one on the top right was turned into a pendant by my friend Natalie. It's hard to see, but there's a white bead at the bottom.
I made some wine glass charms for my friend's birthday. I made the beads and am working on something to use for a bottle stopper. I keep messing them up!

I had a 70s flashback last week when I used some of my black and white beads to make a macrame bracelet. This might be my favorite piece of jewelry I've made so far. It took about an hour and was pretty easy. Now I need more cord to make more!

I've been playing with purple and green glass.
